Shadow grumbled, following the azure hedgehog into a lush forest, surrounded by moss and mushrooms of every kind.
"Where on earth are we?" the dark one exclaimed, marveling at the beauty. Sonic chuckled, turning.
"You don't remember this place? It's White Jungle!" Sonic laughed, patting the charcoal hedgehog on the back. "We had good times here, didn't we? I also remember kicking your ass." he smirked, expecting to be slapped again, but instead the dark hedgehog nodded, pointing to a small lake.
"Is that the lake?" he sighed weakly, grumbling under his breath, not enjoying what he was doing. But, he owed Sonic for slapping him, so he had to put up with it.
"Yes, that's it." Sonic replied, running over and sitting on the pier. He took off his shoes and socks, gently putting them on the grass on the side, slipping his feet into the water and sighing happily. "I hate water... but this water feels so nice. Come try it Shadow!" he grinned, patting beside him. "Please?"
"FINE!" Shadow grumbled, walking over and repeating Sonic's movements, slipping his feet into the cold water to freeze, sighing. "That... that's actually really nice." Shadow replied, then grinned to splash Sonic in the face. Sonic cried out, growling and hitting Shadow over the head.
"Not funny! You know how I am with water you jerk!" the azure sighed, putting his feet back in. He crossed his arms, sticking his nose in the air. "Hmphf!" he said stubbornly, kicking Shadow's leg. "Not funny, jerk." Shadow just smirked, kicking him back. After a few rounds of kicking, they stopped. "Mmmm... alright, I'm done." he said, reaching for his shoes. Suddenly, a ringed wrist touched the other hedgehog's hand, looking up.
"I got it..." Shadow smiled, handing his shoes to Sonic. The blue one blushed, putting his shoes back on and standing. "Aww, done already? Can't we stay a bit longer?" he replied, pulling Sonic back down. His emerald eyes glared and beamed into Shadow's crimson, ears pinning back.
"I um... I suppose..." replied Sonic softly. He looked down, noticing that Shadow was holding his hand. He looked back at black one, smiling softly. "Why... why are you holding my hand?" he blushed. Shadow leaned in, black eyelid slowly peering unto his crimson brightness.
"Because..." replied Shadow, gently leaning in, pressing his lips against the peach skin. Sonic's eyes widened, staring straight into Shadow's. The blue hedgehog gently kissed back, blushing as red as his seme's eyes. Their lips separated, leaving a small strand of saliva between them, softly panting.
"Sh...Shadow... how long have you... wanted to do that?" Sonic blushed, smiling.
"Since I saw you on top of that Bigfoot robot, back so long ago... our chase from G.U.N. isn't even over to this day, really..." said Shadow sadly, but returning his gaze to the teen.
"...C... can you... k-kiss me again... Shadow?..." he asked shyly, almost as if a shy school girl. Shadow smiled at Sonic's weak response, and gently kissed him, letting go to softly kiss his nose.
"There... good enough?" the black one purred.

Being me, there really is only one thing that I can do for everyone. There is only one way to protect those I loved, along with myself. There was only one way to keep everything at peace. And that was by running. So I did what I had to do
I ran.
Wary green eyes glanced around the darkened forest, soft glowing specks of pollen floating around and dancing upon a whirling breeze that flowed through the low-hanging branches. Torn and bloodied gloves reached to push away some of the green leaves and lively branches only to be smacked in the back of the head which caused the male to stagger and trip over an uprooted tree. He laid there in th

I don't really get who these people are. Especially Shadow. What's the point of living alone in the middle of a forest? What good comes of it?
Shadow stepped into the bedroom, pushing past the new face and towards Sonic, ignoring her for the time being. It didn't seem to bother her for some reason, as if it were something he did often. The dark hedgehog reached out and pushed Sonics head to the side, using his free hand to touch the patch that sat on his neck. It was almost dried out. His lips quirked and the ebony turned away from his charge, letting Sonics head go.
"What was that for?" Sonic chirped, rubbing the spot on his head where Sh
